Supplement to the Internal Regulations of the SPW Marinas
Opening Season and Rates
The marinas of Amée and Henri Hallet welcome you from 15 April to 15 October.
For resident boaters, the seasonal fee is €65 per metre, excluding VAT.
Upon first arrival, the owner or skipper of the vessel is requested to register at the Henri Hallet Harbour Office.
Mooring Allocation and Conditions
In the interest of the marina, user safety, infrastructure management and the comfort of all occupants, the Capitaineries de Namur reserve the exclusive right to grant, refuse, suspend or withdraw a mooring berth.
Such decisions are made at their sole discretion and do not require any specific justification.
Berths are allocated exclusively by the harbour masters.
To be accepted for mooring, each vessel must:
- hold valid registration documents;
- have valid insurance, including wreck removal and salvage coverage;
- display the owner's telephone number in a visible location.
Any vessel failing to meet these requirements may be denied access to the marina.
Access to Services and Pontoon Specifications
Access to water and electricity is only permitted upon request to the harbour office.
Maximum vessel lengths for the finger pontoons are:
- Plage d'Amée Marina: vessels up to 9 metres;
- Henri Hallet Marina: vessels up to 12 metres.
The Henri Hallet Harbour Office is open every day from 15 April to 15 October from 10:00 a.m.
Maintenance of Berths
The Capitaineries de Namur are responsible for the annual and structural maintenance of the pontoons.
However, boaters remain responsible for keeping clean:
- their berth;
- the pontoon they occupy;
- the immediate surroundings of their vessel.
The Capitaineries de Namur reserve the right to intervene and require any cleaning or restoration work deemed necessary to preserve the safety, quality and image of the marina facilities.
Vessel Safety and Liability
We make every effort to provide high-quality facilities. To keep your vessel in optimal condition, we kindly ask you to regularly check your mooring arrangements and use all harbour equipment correctly.
The Capitaineries de Namur cannot be held liable for any accident, loss, damage or deterioration affecting vessels while they are moored within the marina facilities.
Each boater is responsible for:
- properly securing their vessel;
- maintaining mooring lines in good condition;
- correctly using the harbour facilities provided;
- ensuring that a sufficient number of suitable fenders are in place.
Financial Conditions
Payment for the berth must be made no later than the time of mooring.
Use of Vessels
Vessels moored at the Capitaineries de Namur are intended solely for private and recreational use.
Any form of tourist accommodation, short-term rental, or use through platforms such as Airbnb or similar services is strictly prohibited.
Waste Management and Environmental Protection
Only regular household waste may be disposed of in the containers provided by the Capitaineries de Namur.
It is strictly prohibited to dispose of waste requiring special treatment, including:
- cat litter;
- cooking oil;
- engine oil;
- paint and solvents;
- batteries;
- electrical appliances;
- hazardous waste;
- any other waste subject to a dedicated collection and treatment process.
Each occupant is responsible for disposing of such waste through the appropriate collection channels.
